Last month I did Stephanie & Ross’s Maternity session and their sweet little girl Layla arrived in early April. She was just 2 weeks old at her newborn session, and so sweet! She slept a little, yawned a little, smiled a little and was just overall adorable!!

And since her session was just before Easter I got out my new little bunny hat! I got the bunny hat, and many others too, from List at Tri-Bec Creations. She does awesome work, and is a great vendor to work with! You can find her on facebook and Etsy.

True love, soul mates, love at first site? The stuff of legend, perhaps. But capturing such love one engagement and wedding session at a time has made me a believer. It has been such a pleasure to see happy couples taking the next step in their lives together. I enjoy engagement sessions because there are less nerves and fewer time restraints than on a wedding day. I am able to have more fun with backgrounds, themes and poses while still enjoying the complementing elements of each couple’s personality. It’s been 10 years, but every engagement session reminds me why I love photography so much. It only gets better with time. I have been busy with Corporate Portraits lately. Business professionals need to have the best professional portrait of themselves. That portrait represents them and their company and you have look your best!

A while ago I received a request for a quote for professional portraits. I submitted my quote and was under bid by another photographer. That is fine – in this economy we all have to watch our pennies. The best part though, was the phone call I received a few weeks later from someone from the company. She did not like her portrait and wanted me to redo it for her. Sure! I can do that. She loves her knew portrait! I do too!
